Gardening Author Jennifer Benner to Speak at Lyme Public Hall

The Lyme Public Hall will be featuring a talk and book signing by Jennifer Benner, former Fine Gardening Magazine associate editor on Sunday, September 12 at 2 pm. Co-author with Stephanie Cohen of the recent book The NonStop Garden (Timber Press), Jennifer will provide the audience with advice on giving their gardens year-round interest, with a focus on the upcoming fall and winter seasons. Learn what to plant now for great results next year. In a review of The NonStop Garden, Fine Gardening noted that “Any book of gardening advice written by people more accustomed to working with soil instead of ink is worth a look. ... Add in a bunch of handy planting plans and some smart maintenance advice, and you've got everything you need to create a four-season garden”. Limited copies of the book will be available for purchase after the presentation.
