Can I publish my events on other websites?
Absolutely! We encourage you to do so. We have designed some tools
to assist you in "pushing" your Guidezilla events calendar to your
own website. One way to re-publish your events calendar is to cut
and paste the javascript link listed on your My
Account page. The second way is a little more technical, but
if you know what RSS is [it stands for Really Simple Syndication],
and how to use it, then you can publish your events to your own website
using the RSS 2.0 link, also provided on your My
Account page.
NOTE for a reasonable one-time fee, we will customize the RSS feed to
look similar to your existing website's calendar. Please
contact us if you need assistance customizing your RSS feed.

How can I get my event Featured?
It is easy. For a small fee,
Guidezilla.com features events on its home landing page. Why is
this important? Because, our landing page is the most visited
page on our site. Most visitors come to our home page first,
viewing our featured events. Additionally, search engines crawl
our home page most often, which increases the visibility of our
featured events across the internet.
To have your event featured simply create a new event by
logging in, select "List
an Event". Once you enter all of the information, select
"Feature Event" on the features page.
There is a small fee for this service. Please note that
your credit card will receive a charge from WD Enterprises, Inc,
our parent company.

How do text message alerts (SMS) work?
When listing an event the user can choose to allow potential
event attendees the ability to receive a text message alert to
their mobile phone. For a small fee,
those posting events can choose this optional service to ensure
that potential attendees are reminded of their event right on
their cell phone!
Guidezilla.com must pay an access fee to send
text messages (SMS) to cell phones, so we must charge a fee to
cover this cost. Because of this, not every event listing will
include this optional service.
If you wish to recieve a text message, and the
event offers this service, simply click on the link and enter
your mobile phone number. You will receive a text alert prior to
the event. Please note that we do not store, sell or
otherwise use mobile numbers.
For more information, view our
User Manual. |
